Since March 2020, the AURORA School for ARtists has increasingly focused on financing creative AR concepts: How to pay for the implementation of great ideas in the field of AR? Are there public funds and if so, how to get them? What bridges to the economy can be built and how do I remain true to myself as an artist? How do I position myself convincingly on the free market and act at eye level with the players in companies and businesses? Where are market gaps and needs that I could close?
The prelude was ARtists go Economy, a vibrant workshop on 5 March 2020! Wolfram Roßner – expert and trainer for communication and business and founder of the Art-Thinking℠ Institute – gave a professional introduction to useful skills such as communication, presence and presentation. The workshop was also extremely valuable for the exchange among colleagues. The idea of a common platform was born to continue this exchange:
The Facebook group ARtists go Economy is aimed at all interested artists and cultural players from Berlin’s independent scene. Here, teams can be formed for joint projects, market gaps and business models can be discussed, etc. All group members also have the exclusive opportunity to take part in our live interviews with exciting actors in this context.
